About Us!
Here is a little about
us and why we started Custom Built Living!
 Have
you found yourself at the end of your rope with little or
no hope
for going
on? Did you
sit at night wondering what you would
do? Did you bicker with your spouse constantly and find yourself taking
it out on each other and on the kids? Did everything seem hopeless?
If you answered yes to any or all of the questions above, then you are
where you should be. Just like you and many others, I spent years
clinging to that rope until my end was frayed down to string. Every time
I thought things were getting better I would get the wind knocked out of
me again. And, the worst part about it was that I discovered that it was
not something I was consciously doing. It was not because I was a bad
person. It was just life!
Now, I hope you have not passed out cold hearing that life is going to
continue throwing curve-balls at you. I hope instead that I have piqued
your interest enough to read on. It's true, the things that happen in
your life are not because you have done something bad or because
'somebody up there' does not like you. Life has happened to you.
The reason that it feels so terrible and is so difficult to manage is
because of the way we have been conditioned to respond. All of your
life, you watch the rich grow richer and the poor grow poorer and you
are subconsciously conditioned to expect to fall into one or the other
of these categories. It does not have to be that way.
What I want you to see is that nobody else is going to come in and save
you from your trials and tribulations. It is all up to you to make
changes in your attitudes, your actions and ultimately your life. So,
welcome to Custom Built Living, where I hope to impart to you the
lessons I learned through the course of my trials and tribulations that
helped me survive and prosper in the face of enormous adversity. Welcome
to your Custom Built Life!
About Custom Built Living
I started helping people many years ago with little things like resumes,
getting a job, getting over a break up and much more. After a few years, I
thought maybe I should go back to school and get my Psychology degree or
something like that so I could actually make some money doing the same
things I was doing for free. One reason I did not do that was because I
was helping my friends get through tough times in their lives. So, to ask
them for money would have been a slap in the face.
So, I created the Custom Built Living website where I hope to impart to
you all of the things I have learned over the years to help you through
some tough situations. I also want to offer the latest up-to-date
information from around the web (not necessarily the world) about anything
I think may help you in your journey of life. Overall, I want to help
everyone Custom Build their life. |
